It's like a dream come true for Pinetown's Cohan Kok – aka That Guy – who has always wanted to have his own workshop and grow to be the best out there.
Cohan started a small workshop from home in 2022, and a year later he expanded to the heart of New Germany with That Guys Autoworx.
"I was blessed with the opportunity to start my apprenticeship at Volkswagen, and from the start I really felt the drive and motivation," Cohan recalls.
"Since qualifying as a petrol mechanic, diesel mechanic and diagnostic technician, I achieved my International Certified Master Technician certificate, and, later, earned my certificate in training, facilitating and moderation."
Coming second in the Best of Durban's Best Car Service Centre category has helped the business continue to grow, and together with his small team, they keep striving to deliver the best and honest workshop service in the community.
